Pastor Archie & First Lady Angela Speights
Pastor Archie Speights has been a called and ordained minister since 2001. Hw was called under the leadership of his late father Pastor Lester Speights. His focus is on providing Biblical application for current and modern day living. He is a combat veteran who prioritizes spiritual, mental and physical health. He is a proud father and male role model to his daughter Somaiya Speights and sons Jeremiah Speights and Jaylon Randle.
Wife of Pastor Archie Speights, Angela has always had a strong passion for family and continuously works hard to be a strong example for their three children. "I have always wanted to serve God in a greater way and use my testimony to help others in their Christian journey" Angela says. She currently manages the Church's marketing and media strategies.

John A. Stevens
Executive Minister, Lead Deacon, & Board Member
Anointed, Gifted, and Set Free. John A. Stevens serves as the Executive Minister and Lead Deacon at Bright Light Church. In his capacity, he assists Pastor Archie in overseeing church finances, Sunday School Classes, and church maintenance. John and his wife Paulette serve faithfully at Bright Light Church with joy. John is passionate about sharing his testimony and encouraging others that they can be saved from a lifetime of struggles by surrendering their lives to Jesus. His coined phrase is, “God can offer you better things, better opportunities, and a better life than what you have right now.” Filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit John has a deeper understanding of God’s love and how He never leaves or forsakes us. John and Paulette have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.

Telicsha Clark
Youth Minister & Board Member
Telicsha Clark, Youth Minister, Board Member, and President of Bright Light’s Women’s Ministry has served at the Church since she was 19 years of age. “I love teaching our youth and watching them grow,” said Telichsa. “I also love serving in other capacities at the church.” As the President of the Women’s Ministry, Telicsha coordinates the meeting spots each week for the bible studies. Telicsha enjoys attending Bright Light Church with her husband Orlando Clark. Together they have 3 adult children. What Telicsha loves most about Bright Light Church is the family atmosphere. “Bright Light is Family,” said Telichsa. “I love the openness each member has to love and help each other.” Her favorite saying is that “God doesn’t count numbers; He makes numbers count.” She feels God has accomplished this at Bright Light Church and loves the people-oriented culture.

Small Groups Leader, Deacon & Board Member
J.R. Thomas is the Small Groups Leader at Bright Light Church. He enjoys leading small groups with his wife Crystal Thomas. They are passionate about helping people discover who they truly are in Christ. When you come to visit Bright Light Church they are sure to make you feel just at home.

Yvonne Carol Speights
Minister of Music
Yvonne Carol Speights is a dynamic worship leader based in Anahuac Texas, just 20 minutes outside of Baytown. Talented and passionate about singing, Yvonne started serving as the minister of Music at Bright Light Church in 1993. Yvonne and her husband, the late Pastor Lester R. Speights, felt a call from the Lord to lead the church. Talented in music since the age of 6, Yvonne led her first worship service when she was just 12 years old. “Many people would be surprised to know that I am legally blind,” said Yvonne, “My passion for God is what keeps me playing.” Gifted in playing many instruments like the piano, Yvonne’s desire is to lead people into the presence of God to experience His love through worship. In her spare time Yvonne likes to crochet, and make gift baskets, or cards for those experiencing a bereavement.
